Tanougou Waterfall

Tanougou Falls is a waterfall located in the Atakora Mountains, at the edge of the Pendjari Game Park in northern Benin. The height of the waterfall is about 15 meters, and it is said to have a flow of 1.5 m3 per second, although this is highly seasonal. The flow is highest during the rainy season from May to September. At the base of the waterfall is a natural pool. The lush vegetation surrounding the waterfall makes it a pleasant and favorable place for camping and hiking, as well as for swimming.
