The Chapman Glacier is situated on Ellesmere Island, Nunavut Territory, Canada, close to the North Pole. It was formed by the merging of several smaller glaciers, and the rocky debris at the top of the glacier clearly mark the edge of each glacier. This debris allows us to see the flow patterns that have developed as the glacier has moved downstream. Beautiful glacial rivers meander through the area, with crystal clear water. The glacier has created magnificent landforms in the area, which is particularly stunning when viewed from the air.
