We'a Canyon

We'a Canyon or Djibouti’s Grand Canyon, which is also called Belvedere Sul Canyon, is located at the point where the three tectonic plates separate. This monumental canyon is known by the Afar people as Dimbia. Although smaller than the real Grand Canyon, it is still impressive. The different metal oxides come in a multitude of colors, which is a wonderful sight to behold. There are also spectacular views of Djibouti Bay, the Indian Ocean and the coastal mountains.
