Waco Kungo or Cela is a town located in the municipality of Cela in the province of Cuanza Sul in Angola. The majority of the inhabitants of Waku Kungo, then Santa Comba, were saved by the International Red Cross and evacuated to Portugal. The town is also known for the sad event of the 1994 bombing of a school where 89 children lost their lives.
